Pond building/ reconstruction in Norwich.

We were asked to replace the pond liner on this fish pond and in the process make some changes to the depth and edging. The pond had previously been built well, we discovered that all the shelves were already constructed out of concrete so we didn't need to do any reinforcing to stablilise things like we often do. 

After digging down in the centre to create some more depth we installed a new fleece underlay and butyl liner. The rocks were reused to secure half the pond liner and we used new pavers to secure the other half. We also installed a new filtration system to cope with the larger quantity of water and finished by installing an electric powered heron deterrent which will stop any predators getting on the shelf to prey on the fish.
